Eugene Von Bruenchenhein (1910–1983) was a self-taught artist from Milwaukee, Wisconsin who created thousands of paintings, hundreds of sculptures, erotic photos of his wife and filled dozens of notebooks with his ideas and poetry, an extraordinary output of work. Non of his work was exhibited in his lifetime. He is often referred to as an 'Outsider Artist" but I dislike this term.
