My novels, including the evocative Noon of Night Trilogy and other darkly compelling stories, draw readers into richly imagined worlds where grief, morality, and human drive meet indwelling violence and savage beauty. Alongside my novels, I write surreal short stories and imaginative fiction that explore philosophical ideas through language, character, imagery, and narrative.
 

I also write and illustrate children’s books and picture stories that celebrate imagination and wonder, including Rita Pudding’s Extraordinary Worlds.

In my filmmaking, I create experimental and archival works that invite viewers to see familiar images and ideas in new ways. My films often blend interview, archive, and visual collage to explore subjects ranging from early cinema to the lives of artists and thinkers.
