Father Lupine, a vicious dictator with a bizarre and ambiguous political doctrine, has cast a spell over the people of his country. Many dismiss him as a rabid lunatic, but to others he represents progress and stands as the figurehead of an empowering fantasy for the nation’s disenfranchised young men. As the country falls further under his spell, his “drummer boys” flood the streets, while a small band of refugees attempts to escape Father Lupine’s brutal regime, “The Brotherhood,” even as their homeland collapses around them.

Set in a fictional country, the novel follows a society’s descent down a dark path—one that may ultimately lead to its own destruction.

the noon of night Trilogy

A trilogy of novels linked by themes of grief, morality, and violence. They are set within the Noon of Night world - a world of brutality and terrifying beauty.

A mute and simple-minded backwoodsman lives near a small town populated with strange and immoral townsfolk. He keeps his own unique sense of morality, indifferent both to the world beyond his understanding and to the curious lusts of the townsfolk. Yet, in a world both hostile and indifferent, it won't be long until the outer world comes violently into conflict with his own.

A dark and violent novel, Still Night explores the value of morality within an immoral world.

Driven from their home by shock and grief, twin children wander alone through a hostile world, innocent of the effect they have on the people they meet. The novel tells their story from two perspectives: one of childhood and one of adulthood, as they reflect on their experiences. Ultimately, the twins are set on a path of self-destruction by their inescapable grief.

A tragic fable set in the Noon of Night world, the novel explores the transformative nature of grief and the ability of ideas to poison the mind.

Sampson Dellamy, a member of a chain gang, escapes his captors in a bid for freedom. He finds himself in a never-ending chase for survival against the backdrop of the terrifying beauty of the natural world.
